Journeymen employs the processes that Boys To Men developed to conduct an intensive 48-hour mentor training program, Reclaiming Your Teenage Fire (RTF), to provide mentors with the skills they need listen, accept, admire, and respond to these young men for who they are.
The training is designed to:
- Give mentors better listening, empathy, and attending skills.
- Raise the mentors consciousness around their own issues during adolescence and how those issues have effected their lives as men.
- Create a bond among the mentors through group discussions and team building exercises.
- Teach mentors their roles and responsibilities in the lives of these young men.
For Whom:
- Every man who is examining his life and is ready to live his mission.
- Any man who wishes to better connect with his children.
- Any man who has a passion to mentor a boy in the Journeymen Mentoring Program.
We offer this training for the cost of food and lodging. If you choose to continue and become a mentor your entire training fee is tax deductible.
